  6.         such as weapons skills and a new "pickup" interface.          
  7.         This is a plain vanilla binary (compiled for LINUX from 
  8.                 DEVTEAM's orginal source) with a few of the more popular 
  9.                 options such as COLOR, GZIP compression, and SECURE turned 
  10.                 on.  Wizard mode is available if you run the game as user 
  11.                 "root" using the -D option.  "Untaring" the file from the 
  12.                 root directory will install the main files in 
  13.                 /usr/local/lib/nethackdir, man files in /usr/local/man/man6, 
  14.                 the executable in /usr/local/games and a few basic 
  15.                 informational files in /usr/local/doc/nethack.  (Note:
  16.                 There is an "Official" LINUX binary on ftp.win.tue.nl
  17.                 that has X11 support but it's even more plain vanilla
  18.                 than this one.)
